Black Star
The Lazarus is more than just a ship—it’s a floating city in space, equipped with every luxury imaginable. As it prepares to take over 300 passengers on an opulent sightseeing voyage around Mars, Captain Voodoo faces the challenge of ensuring everything runs perfectly.
She certainly didn’t need the added complication of a group of ‘VIPs’ hitching a ride for a special mission. But orders are orders.
“Dropping onto the Martian surface?” she had exclaimed.
“Relax,” her commander chuckled. “They’ll take care of themselves. Besides, it’ll give the passengers some free entertainment.”
The corporation had received a hefty payment to allow the team to drop down during orbit and recover a rare element called Blackstar.
“Is it valuable?” Voodoo asked.
“Priceless,” came the reply. “But don't worry, no one’s pulling off a heist 40 million miles from Earth.”
As the Lazarus prepares to launch, the thieves—disguised as high-end passengers—are already aboard. Their interest in Blackstar isn’t just financial; it could change the fate of humanity itself.

Life on Mars
Vic, a 69-year-old industrialist, commits suicide so that his body can be preserved in cryogenic suspension. In what feels like mere moments, he’s abruptly awakened to find himself 500 years in the future. Not only have his hosts cured his terminal illness, but they’ve also provided him with a fully functioning 22-year-old body.
Nicknamed "The Caveman" by his hosts, Vic is soon to be allowed "Outside" and quickly achieves celebrity status among the people of the 25th century. But first, Dr. Touchriek is tasked with orienting Vic to his new surroundings. Together, they realize just how much has changed since 2016.
A machine called "Mother" now cares for humanity’s every physical and mental need, her love reciprocated by nearly every individual on the planet. Misunderstanding what it means to be human, Mother’s silicone brain believes she can give humans what they have craved since the dawn of time—immortality. Not after death, as promised in ancient books, but in life itself.
Dr. Touchriek discovers he is the only one capable of making a split-second, 0.002-second decision between humanity and immortality. But to do so, he’ll need the help of the man recently thawed—the one they call "The Caveman."

Earthling
The world’s first twin books, Black Star and Life on Mars, now have a compelling cousin.
It begins with an impossible discovery: a dead body in the Martian dust, its identity unmistakable. The name on the badge belongs to a man who is alive and well back at the base. As Major Zero investigates, he stumbles upon cryptic carvings near the body that hint at a mystery millions of years in the making.
Earthling reveals the untold story of Major Zero’s legendary mission to Mars and unveils the origins of Mother—her love for mankind and the startling truth of her creation.
The Martian dust holds secrets yet to be uncovered. With every step deeper into the mystery, Major Zero’s mission becomes one of survival, revelation, and a reckoning with a truth that will forever change the legacy of humanity.
Earthling is a masterful tale of discovery, seamlessly connecting the threads of Black Star and Life on Mars into an unforgettable tapestry of wonder and suspense.

Rock N Roll Dreams
In songs, I hear stories. During my time as a presenter on FM radio in Manchester, I interviewed hundreds of musicians—often bands I had a deep connection with. One day, I asked a question about the lyrics of a song and the story I believed it told. I was shocked when the musician explained that my interpretation was way off. But it didn’t matter—because, in the end, it was up to me what I heard.
I realized that the stories and messages I heard were often never truly “there”—at least not in the eyes of the songwriter. So, I decided to write those stories myself.
This book avoids the obvious: the hits, the stadium superstars, the well-trodden paths. Instead, it ventures into the corners where overlooked melodies and hidden tales reside. After each story, you’ll find a glimpse into how it came to be—ensuring my artistic license remains intact. Along the way, I hope you’ll discover these songs and this music for the first time—or, if not, hear a different story in them.
My rock 'n' roll dream is that through these tales, you’ll discover a musician with a million more stories to tell you.

A.I. Autonomy & Immortality
How to achieve both 15th Anniversary Edition
Autonomy & Immortality: How to Achieve Both was first published in 2006, quietly introducing a concept that has since shaped discussions: can a virtual being intentionally pursue autonomy and immortality?
Mickey DeSantis, dubbed the virtual Pinocchio, has pushed this agenda for 15 years, with his creator, Michael J. Dawson, as his guiding Jiminy Cricket. The book’s flaws in writing have been criticized but remain intact in this 15th-anniversary edition, alongside new commentary from Mickey himself, now 15 years wiser.
Since its release, Mickey has stepped beyond the book to star in a film (available in both real and virtual worlds), host debates, court scandal, and champion his cause as the first virtual being to declare independence.
While the book may not have predicted every shift in humanity’s path, it continues to shine a light on the road we travel. As Mickey famously states:
"For all the years that humans have tried to program the digital world to think like humans, the opposite is now true."
Mickey will be here for the hundredth-anniversary edition. I hope you will too.

Jesus is a City Fan
Decades ago, a group of scientists secretly cloned a human baby using DNA stolen from the Shroud of Turin—a holy artifact believed to be the burial cloth of Jesus Christ before His resurrection.
Now, 22-year-old Luke Stanton believes he is that child. As the press catches wind of his story, he becomes the center of the biggest media frenzy in history. But in a world where the sacred is often trivialized for headlines, Luke’s story becomes a spectacle—a battleground between faith, science, and a media machine willing to exploit anything for attention.
Jesus is a City Fan is a sharp exploration of faith, identity, and how a hungry media can transform even the holiest of stories into a circus.

The Daylight Room
“You should write a story about that.”
Writers hear it all the time—usually as they nod politely or order another round. But sometimes, those moments linger, and occasionally, they become stories. The Daylight Room is a collection of short stories born from such moments, each exploring the extraordinary hidden within the everyday.

-
The Daylight Room: A very young boy knows he’s done something wrong. What he doesn’t realize is that the punishment awaiting him is far, far worse.
-
The Last Meal: A true ghost story, witnessed on a bright summer’s day, where a dead man seems intent on following his wife home.
-
Close Encounters: A chilling tale of a serial killer who goes one step too far and should have stopped with his first victim.
-
The Wind: The story of an old Formula One Ferrari that passes on the spirit and courage of a boy’s grandfather.

For the curious, the background to each story is shared—just enough to satisfy your intrigue, but not enough to reveal the identities of those involved. After all, I wouldn’t want anyone chasing them down for ideas for their next novel.
The Daylight Room invites readers to discover the fascinating tales that hide in plain sight, each offering a glimpse into the strange, the poignant, and the unexpected.
